On Tuesday, the NOW Safety Patrol held its annual Belt & Awards Ceremony.  At that time, we welcomed in 30 5th graders as our newest patrol members.  We also announced this year’s BEST PATROL HONOREES: SALEEN FORD, SAMANTHA MARKEE, & AMARA MILLEMAN.  They have been exemplary patrol members and great role models.  We are very proud of them!

Congrats to the April Athletes of the Month:  Nate DeWitt ( Baseball ), Emily Cunitz ( Softball ), Dan Peterson ( Boys Track ), & Kimberlee Downing ( Girls Track ).

Since 2020, we have lost around 35% of WIAA officials.  More and more, we are faced with having to reschedule contests to different days or times just to ensure we have officials.  This is an alarming trend.  We are hoping to find additional officials for the following sports: football, volleyball, cross country, basketball, wrestling, baseball, softball, and track & Field.  You don’t have to be an expert; just someone who enjoys and understands the game and wants to help kids.  We will help you get registered, and we will find officials to help mentor you.  Plus, the money isn’t bad.  Contact Mr. Clinton here at school if you’re interested.

Scenic Bluffs Health Center will be running a SPORTS PHYSICALS CLINIC right here at Brookwood on JUNE 1.  Physicals cost just $40.  This is a terrific opportunity to get your physical for next year out of the way.  Contact the High School or Elementary offices to obtain registration info or go to www.scenicbluffs.org/NOWSportsPhysical. Questions?  Call (608)654-5100.
