I STUDENTS OF THE YEAR: I
Savannah Groom Cruz (12th)
She always comes to class prepared and ready to learn. She puts forth her best effort in everything; if she doesn't understand something she will ask questions for clarification. She doesn't simply try to get things done, she seeks to understand. Savannah is also a great classmate, helping other students who may not quite grasp the concepts yet. She is a great role model for younger students. She is a true class leader; she recruited students for the play, for track, and acted as a role model while compiling excellent grades.
Fernanda Garcia Barr (11th)
Fernanda works hard on all of her classwork, helps classmates with their work, advocates for her own learning by asking for help to ensure comprehension. She exemplifies being responsible, driven to do her best, and is always willing to help others. Her work is meticulous. She completes homework to understand, not just to get it done. She is engaged in material and asks questions. She is always pleasant and welcoming with her peers.
Ava Gruen (10th Grade)
Ava Gruen is a great role model, empathetic and helps others without being asked. She stands at the top of her class through consistent hard work and a strong commitment to academic excellence. She gives 100% in everything she does. Her quiet determination, respectful nature, and kind demeanor make her not only a leader among her peers, but also a joy to work with. She exemplifies what it means to be a well-rounded and dedicated student.
Samantha Markee (9th Grade)
Sami is an all around great student. Works hard in her classes, extracurriculars, and sports. Tries very hard in school while excelling in an array of extra-curriculars. Always kind, respectful, and responsible. Puts forth her best effort and goes above and beyond to help peers.
Stella Mack (8th Grade)
Stella is a great leader. She is hardworking, helpful to her peers, and doesn't back down from a challenge. She is also very respectful, responsible, and positive!
Emma Wiedmeyer (7th Grade)
Emma really came out of her shell this year. She works hard to improve and always does what is right even when it is hard to do. Emma is also polite and caring.
