Jr/Sr High Morning Announcements

January 16th, 2018

Lunch Menu:  Fiestada or Corndog, Calico Beans, Cottage Cheese, Milk

The Brookwood Theatre Program is in need of solid colored cotton or flannel sheets to use in the making of costumes.  If anyone has some to donate, they may drop them off at the school or at Barb Ornes’ shop in Norwalk.  Sheets are needed by January 19th.

ALL STUDENTS SHOULD BE WEARING COATS TO SCHOOL EVERY DAY!  With the temperatures so low, vehicles & busses can break down & help may not get there right away.  So please, dress accordingly & wear a coat when outside.

The 2018 Vernon Co. Fair is looking for a few face painters to help entertain the crowd.  You would work in blocks of an hour, 2-3 people per hour so there would be plenty of time to enjoy the fair.  If you are interested, please see Miss Holte.

If students are not feeling well, they are to go see the nurse.  Students are not to call or text home to get picked up without the nurse or the office being notified first.

The High School Office does not open until 7:45 am.

While our schedules say Varsity basketball games start at 7:30, conference rules require that warm ups begin immediately after the JV contest.  Thus, Varsity games may begin early.  Please try to arrive early so you don’t miss watching our kids play.

As some of you may have heard, Brookwood will be hosting this year’s WIAA Regional Tourney on Saturday, February 10.  This is a big honor for our program, and as the defending regional champs, we hope to give area wrestlers and fans a first - class event.  We cannot do that without help.  We are in need of lots of help, most notably ticket – takers and concessions workers.  If you can help us in any way, please contact Mr. Clinton or Coach Ottum.  Your help will be appreciated!!

Congratulations to our November / December Athletes of the Month:

Boys Basketball: Robert Cunitz

Girls Basketball:  Senior Captains
